Resort Ready?

Going on a well deserved and needed vacation? Does packing overwhelm you? Do you tend to over pack?

Here are some packing tips to make you resort ready.

1. NOW that nearly every airline is charging baggage fees, travelers are motivated to pack as efficiently as possible. Pack versatile garments that can be worn for multiple occasions and paired with multiple outfits. For example this sequin tank by Wilster can be worn day to night.

It can be paired with anything from these also versatile black shorts by Theory (worn with sandals/flip flops for day and some pumps for a night out)

Or pair it with some classic black skinny jeans by Hudson Jeans that will dress it up in a snap!

2. Shoes are always difficult: heavy and bulky. Try to wear your heaviest/bulkiest pair on the plane. Try to limit yourself to 3 pairs: a pair comfortable for walking extended distances, a pair of sandals or flip flops and a dressier pair for evening!

These black wedges by BB Dakota are comfortable and stylish!

3. Stick with one basic color scheme preferably a dark one which won't show marks and wrinkles so much. The black shorts by Theory and the black skinny jeans by Hudson are great examples of this.

Also certain fabrics are great for a wrinkle free wardrobe, for instance this lace slip by Free People, can be worn as a top, as shown, or as a swim suit cover-up!
4. This one may be implied but it is amazing how many people forget: Don't forget a stylish pair of "Sunnies" as Rachel Zoe (stylist icon) calls them or Sunglasses as for everyone else.

These unisex Mosley Tribes Freecity shades complete any outfit!

5. Lastly, it is a vacation, have fun with your clothes! Color! Color! Color! Yes I said dark color schemes hide wrinkles better but come on, you need some color in your life!

Like this Silk Floral Splatter Tank by Gemma
Or this Ella Moss Cortez Dress

Or this pink skirt by Myne that can be worn with a plain tank or to the beach!

Hopefully these tips are helpful when packing! Happy and Safe Travels!
